But a lot of this is because of how IG changes the entire game, not just power armor. I now play with Immersive Gamplay, and it dramatically changes the way the whole game plays, and I find I'm using power armor much more like how you might use a horse in Skyrim. The extra armor wasn't worthless, but it wasn't game changing, and the fusion core consumption always bothered me, even if I had plenty of them. The extra carrying capacity wasn't sufficient, especially if you had a companion. I have played through the game using a pretty vanilla system, in which I found power armor to be not very useful. The Mod Guide I was using (by Gernash) hasn't been updated for several years, and used ZephyrWarrior's + FO4 war tags: ĭo people feel the vanilla power armours are balanced or do they need tweaking? I usually prefer some more diveristy and complexity, but not over the top. I suspect running all of them would be overkill and there would be compatibility issues eg with AWKCR). Large overhauls (eg Worsin's Power Armor Garage, Consistent Power Armor Overhaul, ZephyrWarrior's F4 Power Armor Overhaul, FO4 War Tags) Ones that add a new paint for vanilla armors Ones that simply change basic stats of vanilla armors Ones that add new armor set such as Midwest Evolution (many of these have AWKCR & Vis-G compatibility patches which is helpful) I'm modding up the game for a first playthrough and way hoping that somebody who has played a heavily modified game could provide advice.
That being said, it is suggested that story spoilers not be put in post titles, and that you tag spoilers in comments.
